I have been a passionate athlete from an early age. As a child I fanatically practiced various sports, from swimming, judo and tennis to football and basketball. I soon discovered that basketball was what I enjoyed the most. I spent hours on the basketball court every day and every year I got better. As a youth player I was soon allowed to join the big boys, which greatly accelerated my growth as a player. I was selected for district selections and shortly afterwards for the National Youth Selection U16, U18, U20, U23 and the National Men’s Selection B. In addition to my top sports career, I studied Commercial Economics at the Johan Cruyff University of the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences. Once I graduated, I continued to play basketball full-time for a number of years with great passion and enjoyment. After more than 10 years of being active at the highest level for the Eredivisie clubs of Amsterdam, Leeuwarden, Nijmegen and National Teams, I chose to focus on a social career.
Through a great project I ended up at Randstad, where I worked for five years in sales & recruitment in various departments. I combined this full-time job with a one-man business, with which I organized outdoor training for large groups. I enjoyed both jobs immensely, but my sporting heart beat the fastest. What I really wanted to do is help people become fitter and stronger, both physically and mentally, and inspire them to optimize their overall health. I made a career change and that’s how I got into the personal training profession. After attending many courses and seminars, at home and abroad, I have developed an in-depth and complete approach to helping people achieve their health and fitness goals. Growing my clients and improving their quality of life makes being a coach an incredibly rewarding job for me.

I am creative and ambitious, social, driven, and have a continuous urge to inspire others and help them become stronger.
Like everyone else, I like several things in life. But unlike many, I have been fortunate enough to earn a living doing multiple things throughout my career. Things I also liked.

I have worked a lot with music, worked in the catering industry for many years, and am seen as a guru when it comes to image editing. Whether it was the beats in music production, serving dishes during my work as Chef de Partie, or color schemes and pixel obsession in image editing – I have always had an eye and ear for details. I knew how to translate customer wishes into valuable advice and output. Skills that also come in handy in my work as a personal trainer.
To be honest, my love for sports and nutrition only came along later.
I used to play a lot of football, ice hockey and tennis at a young age, but that didn’t last. I only started looking into nutrition and exercise after I turned 30, seven years ago. A forced result of working overtime and not taking good care of myself. A recognizable story for many others who are going to delve further into health.
Because I made a lot of steps every day in the catering industry, I lost a lot of weight and had little energy. When I made a switch to healthy eating and started following a good training schedule, I quickly noticed that I started to feel fitter. Both physically and mentally. I had much more energy and better focus throughout the day.
Since then it has become part of my lifestyle. I can be found in the gym almost every day, love setting new goals, and try to take good care of myself when it comes to nutrition, mindset and balance. Fortunately, I can now also share that passion with others by helping them progress physically and mentally at RYS.

My journey in sports began as an amateur soccer player in my hometown during my teenage years, and it has been an integral part of my life ever since. Over the past decade, I have wholeheartedly devoted myself to a professional basketball career, encountering numerous exceptional coaches along the way who fueled my passion for strength training.
Upon concluding my professional athletic career, it seemed only natural to blend my academic background with the experience I’ve gained. In my work with clients, I consistently prioritize delivering the highest quality of service, continuously refining my skills under the guidance of world-renowned specialists.
I hold a degree in physiotherapy from the Eugeniusz Piasecki Academy of Physical Education in Poznań, Poland. The knowledge and insights gained there have greatly enriched my understanding of the complexities our bodies face in daily life, allowing me to approach them in a holistic and comprehensive manner. I firmly believe in the interconnectedness of the mind and body, recognizing that training both is crucial for achieving success in all aspects of life.
As a personal trainer, my objective is to empower my clients to unlock their full potential and become the best version of themselves. During our training sessions, you can trust that I will create the optimal environment for your development and select the most effective tools to accelerate your progress. I am deeply passionate about helping individuals achieve their goals and lead a healthy, fulfilling life.

Introduction to Self-Determination Theory: An Approach to Motivation, Development, and Wellness

My biggest passions are fitness and mindfulness. My intent is to fuse the two together and be a guide to clients on their mental and physical transformation journeys. To me, the goal of transformation is to become one’s absolute best self – and by challenging yourself mentally and physically in the studio, your personal growth can lead to an improved self outside of the studio as well.
Upon completing my Bachelors degree in Psychology and Film, I started my career working in the film industry in Los Angeles. I always loved being a part of creative industries, but knew that my heart was in fitness and coaching. Sports had always played a big role in my life. I did ballet and figure skating growing up, and as I began discovering my strengths in other physical activities, my passion for health and wellness only grew.
I am originally from Hungary and I grew up in the Netherlands, USA, and UK. I thrive in multicultural environments, which is why I feel at home in Amsterdam. My hope is that you will leave your training sessions feeling revitalized and stronger, both physically and mentally!

At RYS, we believe in the power of diverse expertise, and I’m proud to bring mine to the team. My journey began in a family deeply rooted in sports and wellness, which led me to represent Portugal in national basketball teams from U14 to U20. Competing at that level shaped my understanding of discipline, performance, and the mindset required to thrive.

After relocating to the Netherlands, I continued playing basketball at a semi-professional level while building a career in coaching, people management, and continuous improvement. In 2018, I reignited my passion for human performance, not just training the body, but understanding how movement, mindset, and recovery work together to elevate overall well-being. I began working intensively with Andrew Dawson, completing over 300 sessions that deepened my knowledge and sharpened my approach. That journey led to earning my Level 3 Personal Trainer certification and laid the foundation for the integrated coaching I now offer at RYS.
Since then, I’ve transitioned from freelance coaching to full-time dedication at RYS, where I help people transform not just their bodies, but their entire lifestyle. Our approach is holistic, integrating movement, nutrition, recovery, and mindset—tailored to each individual’s goals and circumstances.

🎓 Ongoing Education & Specializations
I’m committed to lifelong learning and currently pursuing advanced certifications to deepen my impact:

– Precision Nutrition Level 1 & Sleep, Stress Management & Recovery – PN Academy
– Functional Medicine – FMCA
– Menopause Coaching Specialist – GGS

These studies allow me to support people through life’s transitions, whether it’s managing stress, navigating hormonal changes, or optimizing recovery.

👨‍👧‍👧 Real-Life Experience, Real Results
As a father of four daughters, I understand the demands of everyday life. My coaching is grounded in empathy, science, and practical strategies that work. Whether you’re just starting your journey or looking to elevate your training, I’m here to guide you with clarity and care, to help you raise your standards and unlock your potential.
At RYS, we’re a team, each of us bringing something unique to the table. I’m grateful to work alongside Isabella, Krisztina, Leo, Paweł, and Andrew, and I’m excited to help you discover your next level.

With a background in physiotherapy and a lifelong passion for movement, my approach to training is all about helping people feel strong, move well, and thrive, whether you’re recovering from injury, chasing performance goals, or simply looking to feel better in your daily life.
Growing up in Innsbruck, Austria, I was always moving; climbing, running, skiing, and competing in track and field as a national-level triple jumper. That athletic foundation sparked a deep interest in how the body works, leading me to study at the European School of Physiotherapy in Amsterdam and gain hands-on experience across Europe in sports rehab, orthopedics, and performance training.
In my work, I blend physiotherapy principles with strength and movement coaching to create personalized programs that support injury prevention, physical resilience, and sustainable progress. While I love working with athletes and active individuals, my focus is always on helping each client, no matter their background, build a body that feels good, works well, and supports their goals.
Whether it’s improving mobility, navigating pain, building strength, supporting weight loss, or managing stress and burnout, I take a holistic, evidence-based approach that addresses both the body and the mindset behind movement.
At RYS, I aim to create an environment where every person feels empowered to take ownership of their health and become the strongest, most capable version of themselves.
